Kimberly Clark EE selected Anaplan after its previous performance management solution could no longer keep up with the planning team’s needs for effective analysis and forecasting capabilities across the expanding company.

Since switching to Anaplan’s cloud-based solution, Kimberly-Clark EE has been able to dramatically reduce the amount of time required to carry out forecast models. As a result, the planning team has been able to focus more time on analysis that can benefit the business, rather than on data input and number crunching.

“With Anaplan, the forecasting process is twice as fast as it was previously, and we’re able to instantly see results from analysis,” continued Irina. “The platform allows us to quickly do recalculations, see gross margin statements instantly and drill down deeper into the data. The virtualisation of forecasting is also greatly improved, and we can use filters and sorting tools to see on-the-spot outcomes and quickly analyse whether reality is meeting forecasts.”

Kimberly-Clark EE has seen such positive results from the solution that other departments within the company have also shown interest in how they could work with Anaplan to improve processes.
