It goes without saying that anyone considering, or planning, a merger should listen to what he has to say in this interview.

Business leaders need to focus on integrating the values, cultures and unique qualities of their companies if they want to create a successful merger, Paul Corney has said in an interview today.
Interviewed by Find the Edge's Kenny Goodman, Corney speaks at length about his experiences in advising leaders on acquisitions and mergers.
He talks about the need to create a separate identity for the new company, rather than clinging onto the past and creating a fragmented and unfocussed end result.
He said: "The big thing is at what point do you drop brand and come together as an aligned brand? Think of all the examples over the years where two big organisations have got together.
"Do they become an amalgamation of different names, or do they become 'Everything Everywhere,' for example."
He also discusses how his experience has taught him the value of flexibility when merging companies.
He said: "We worked on results. If someone wanted to work all night, that was up to them. We created the environment, and that would be very different across the whole organisation.
"Different people require different levels of interaction, but it's part of coming together as a culture of results."
He also touches on the problems companies face when attempting to integrate employees, giving an example of how they can be too conservative and reserved.
He said: "They are often all frightened of offending each other, and end up creating a very neutral culture that isn’t conducive to innovation."
The much-anticipated follow up interview has been published today, and business leaders can either watch, listen or download the comments and advice Paul has to make.
Speaking about the interview founder of Find the Edge, Kenny Goodman, said: "It was fantastic to catch up with Paul again, and I never get tired of listening to his insight - he has some brilliant stories and experiences to share.
"It goes without saying that anyone considering, or planning, a merger should listen to what he has to say in this interview."
