"The Kitchen Designer technology provides the ability for customers to design and visualize the kitchen of their dreams before it’s built," said CEO, Champion Home Builders, Jack Lawless.

Champion Home Builders, a leading producer of modular homes and manufactured homes, today announced the launch of the company’s newest home design visualization technology, the Kitchen Designer.

The Kitchen Designer technology provides customers with a high-tech solution to assist with choosing kitchen finishes for their new manufactured or modular home. The technology also empowers Champion’s retailers to provide a leading edge, digital sales tool that facilitates the design selection process. With the Kitchen Designer, retailers and customers have the ability to digitally customize each kitchen’s design choosing from a variety of finishes such as cabinet style and color, counter tops, flooring, tile options and paint colors.

“As with many business markets, the factory built home market is very competitive and we strive to support our retail partners with industry leading high-tech sales solutions to differentiate our products from the rest,” said CEO, Champion Home Builders, Jack Lawless. “The Kitchen Designer technology provides the ability for customers to design and visualize the kitchen of their dreams before it’s built, and provides our retailers with the means to showcase a wider array of options in a more dynamic fashion. This technology is another example of Champion’s continued commitment to support our independent retailer distribution network.”

“The Kitchen Designer helps paint the bigger picture for our customers. Historically choosing home finishes and décor are made from small samples, but we’ve found that many struggle to visualize their selections applied to a whole kitchen,” said Champion Home Builders Internet Marketing Manager, Paul Perugi. “As with our DiVE IN home design tool, our primary objective is to allow customers to access the Kitchen Designer from the retailer’s website. This provides our partners with a powerful selling advantage by differentiating their products and services in the virtual marketplace.”

Champion’s DiVE IN tool, launched in 2011, demonstrated that interactive design experiences increase conversion of web traffic to lead generation, proving that Internet customers are more likely to become interested when they can experience the home in a more robust manner.

The Kitchen Designer was presented in January to retailers at the Midwest Manufactured Housing Show in Louisville, Ky.

“The response to the Kitchen Designer was very positive. Our retailers are looking forward to building it into their websites and using it at their sales centers,” Perugi said.
