Miamisburg, Ohio (PRWEB) March 20, 2013
ExpeData, an innovative software company and a global leader in natural input technologies, announces the release of the Lock and Key Services mobile form bundle available for in app purchase with naturalForms Professional (Pro), the latest addition to its suite of groundbreaking data capture solutions. Locksmiths can use the mobile forms application to capture data in the field using iPad®, accelerating business processes and enhancing customer service.
ExpeData surveyed over 500 locksmiths nationally and found that the majority (79%) wanted to make the transition from paper to electronic forms. Respondents cited elimination of data entry errors, faster invoicing, improved customer service, and reductions in expenses such as print and fuel costs as the top benefits of a mobile data capture solution. Ease of use was found to be the most important factor in the selection of a mobile solution.
Working with a focus group of survey participants, ExpeData customized a form bundle specifically to meet the needs of small lock and key service company owners and sole proprietor locksmiths. Forms include a lead sheet for field sales as well as work orders and invoice forms for building and automotive jobs.
naturalForms Pro allows locksmiths to leverage industry-specific mobile forms to capture data using natural input methods such as handwriting, voice, photos, drawings, notes, electronic signatures, and GPS coordinates. The application uses smart form features such as calculations to eliminate common errors that lead to delays or billing questions. Customer signatures can be captured electronically at the time of service, further expediting the invoicing process. Data collected is immediately available to print, email to customers and the home office, or share via DropBox.
Miamisburg, Ohio-based D & L Locksmith was one of the companies that participated in the naturalForms survey. A three generation locksmith company, D & L had modernized their office with iPad but were still using paper forms to capture job information in the field. This led to delays in receiving completed work orders and longer billing cycles.
“naturalForms Pro allows us to capture data and customer signatures on the job site which will enable us to send to our office in seconds instead of hours or even days,” said Phyllis Davis, Owner, D & L Locksmith. “This will improve our invoicing process and accelerate our cash flow. Plus, it is so easy to use, very little training is required to get started, and it will scale with our business.”
“Forward-thinking small businesses are embracing tablet devices and mobile form capabilities to improve their daily processes,” said Sue Zanders, Sales Executive, ExpeData. “We are excited to be able to offer an easy to use, customized data capture application developed with input from actual industry users.”
naturalForms Pro is a free application that contains a basic toolkit of electronic business forms such as estimate and invoice forms. Users can also purchase in app form expansion packs to quickly customize the app to meet their individual business needs. Form packs are currently available for field service markets such as locksmith, pool and spa services, and window cleaning companies.
naturalForms Pro is available now in the App Store (SM). An Android™ version of the application is scheduled to be available in Q2 of this year.
