The Glenn J. Kimber Academy, a private K-12 faith based, multi denominational private school located in Mesa, Arizona, will be hosting a fund raising event on Friday March 29th and Saturday March 30th. The event is titled Raising the Standard, and will be raising funds to support the efforts of the academy.
The Glenn J. Kimber Academy provides students with a moral and patriotic environment, where they can learn not only top academics, but the standards and spirituality needed to make the right choices throughout their lives. This environment is designed to produce confident, lifelong learners. The academy also offers performing arts classes (both auditioned and non-auditioned). Talent Team Performing Arts teaches several classes, focusing on dance, acting, musical instruments and vocal skills training. There are also several other elective courses available, including sewing, karate, gardening, cooking, Spanish, business, leadership and many more.
According to Kimber representative, DaNelle Wolford, “We are confident that this special event will be recognized as relevant, and will be well attended. We believe strongly in the messages that will be presented, especially in this time of turmoil and questionable education agendas. We are concerned for the future of our youth who are being taught the mainstream, mandated curriculum found in public schools.” Wolford adds that she anticipates that the funds raised will finish the build-out of the Clearview Cultural Center in Mesa, where classes are held.
Wolford presented the agenda of the fundraiser, as follows:
