UK retailers Shop Direct and Tesco have the fastest websites among Europe’s top retailers, according to new research from Radware.
The report revealed that 57% of online shoppers will abandon a site if it hasn’t loaded within three seconds.
Each site was tested using a range of browsers but the findings published were from Google Chrome, the most widely adopted browser in the EU.
The median web page load time was 7.04 seconds, while the fastest loads times were from Shop Direct and Tesco who had a load time of 1.69 and 1.72 respectively.
