Carriers can save an enormous amount of time and vehicle wear by not taking constant trips to a scale, and multiply that savings across their fleet.

Trucking industry representatives from around the world gather in Louisville, Kentucky this March 21st through 23rd for the 42nd annual Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS). Rice Lake Weighing Systems will take up residence at booth 62088 to offer attendees a closer look at onboard weighing systems, including their recently released TradeRoute® Legal for Trade option for straight trucks.
MATS is billed as the largest heavy-duty trucking event in the world with an expected attendance of more than 80,000 trucking professionals. At booth 62088, MATS visitors will discover the tremendous cost benefits of having an onboard weighing system installed and learn what options are available for their own equipment.
According to Rice Lake product manager Chris Senneff, “Carriers can save an enormous amount of time and vehicle wear by not taking constant trips to a scale, and multiply that savings across their fleet. They can transmit scale data back to their office electronically, which reduces error and saves a lot of time too.” Chris explains that there are other benefits to onboard systems as well. “Like any onboard system, just knowing your truck’s weight at any given moment lets you make the most of your capacity without going over. Avoid a few overload fines and an onboard system will pay for itself very quickly.” Rice Lake representatives Chris Senneff and Tom Kendall look forward to speaking with visitors throughout the three-day event.
