Orlando, Florida (PRWEB) March 26, 2013

USIRIS LLC, a nation wide provider of satellite internet and satellite television services, is pleased to announce that they will begin offering HughesNet Gen4 with the launch of their newest website called internet satellite isp.

HughesNet is currently the #1 ranked provider of high speed, satellite internet service both within the United States and also world wide. According to Victor Fuentes, Director of Operations for USIRIS LLC, "At USIRIS, we strive to provide our clients with the best service options available. We found that when comparing satellite internet providers both nationally and world-wide, Hughes Net controls the largest market share in the satellite internet industry. They have the necessary infrastructure in place to not only provide a high quality internet service experience for our clients, but to also provide an excellent customer service experience. We feel that their ability to meld top technology with top customer service makes HughesNet's service a perfect addition to the USIRIS portfolio."

According to the FCC's - Eighth Broadband Progress Report, "The nation has made significant progress expanding high-speed Internet access in recent years,...Notwithstanding this progress, the Report finds that approximately 19 million Americans—6 percent of the population—still lack access to fixed broadband service at threshold speeds. In rural areas, nearly one-fourth of the population —14.5 million people—lack access to this service. In tribal areas, nearly one-third of the population lacks access."

USIRIS LLC, an Orlando, FL based company, currently offers HughesNet, DIRECTV, DISH Network and Exede Internet to it's nationwide customer base and is committed to providing high speed internet nation wide, specifically to areas that are not adequately serviced by land based internet offerings. According to their August 2012 - Broadband Progress Report, the FCC states, "the nation must continue to address obstacles impeding universal broadband deployment and availability." It is due in large part to these recept FCC reports, that USIRIS made the decision to launch their newest website, with a goal of assisting America's rural population in accessing high speed internet. Fuentes went on to say, "Many Americans who are residing in rural and sparsely populated areas, lack access to more traditional, cable based, high speed internet services. For these consumers, satellite internet is often the only high speed, internet option available to them."

According to the Hughes Network Systems, 2012 Year in Review, Hughes President, Pradman Kaul states, "Clearly, the launch on July 5 of our next generation EchoStar®XVII satellite, with JUPITER™ high-throughput technology was the most significant event. With well over 100Gbps of Ka-band capacity, it’s the cornerstone of our new HughesNet Gen4 consumer Internet service in North America, delivering greater speeds—from 10Mbps up to 15Mbps—and enabling customers to do more online than ever before."

It's this type of cutting edge technology and forward, industry-leading thinking that has allowed Hughes to consistently maintain their lead in the satellite industry. In fact, Pradman Kaul goes on to say, "In 2012 we crossed the milestone of three million cumulative terminals shipped to customers in more than 100 countries—there’s no let-up in our strategy to invest in both satellite broadband technology and services." As evidence of Hughes commitment to consistently striving to be at the forefront of satellite technology, on March 21, 2013, Hughes Network Systems announced that it has selected Space Systems/Loral (SSL) to build what will be the world’s highest capacity broadband satellite―JUPITER 2/EchoStar XIX. With over 150 Gbps throughput, the new Ka-band satellite will have 50 percent greater capacity than EchoStar XVII.

Hughes plans to launch the new satellite in mid-2016. The EchoStar XIX is being designed with features such as more than 120 spot beams, which will facilitate optimization of high quality Internet coverage across the U.S. and parts of Canada. The announcement was made at the Satellite 2013 Conference where Pradman Kaul stated, "“Growth of our HughesNet consumer service continues at a record pace and speed and application demands are only going to increase as the online world expands into ever more data- and media-rich experiences. JUPITER 2/EchoStar XIX will enable us to continue our leadership so that our customers can enjoy the Internet at its fullest. SSL is a trusted partner in building our platforms and we look forward to working with them again.”

The new Hughes Net Gen4 service offered by USIRIS LLC offers prices starting as low as $59.99 per month, with speeds of up to 15 Mbps, although specials are often offered, making the starting price even lower! "This new Gen4 service from HughesNet is an especially affordable and fast internet option for people residing in rural areas," says Fuentes. "Currently, in the United States, nearly 119 million Americans do not have broadband internet in their homes. With our newly launched website, we at USIRIS are poised to assist in greatly reducing that number."

The Gen4 service offered by USIRIS LLC provides the necessary speed and performance required for applications like video streaming, which requires high bandwidth. HughesNet Gen4 is perfect for rural areas and areas that are not able to access high speed cable or DSL internet service.
