NATC Unveils New Training Facility for Protective Security Specialists

New training center will house students and instructors and provide classroom facilities and practical training environments to support advanced instruction in professional protective operations.

National Advanced Training Center (NATC), a licensed and insured private company, has opened its new training facility in Swisher County, Texas, near Tulia. The training center is all-inclusive, providing training in advanced tactics and operational procedures for those wishing to develop or advance their skills as Protective Security Specialists based on the guidelines of the Department of State and Worldwide Personal Protective Services. The courses range from 7 to 30 days in duration. NATC continuously develops courses to accommodate requests from various agencies seeking professional development assistance.

The new NATC facility includes instructor housing, 16-person student housing, dedicated classroom facilities, a dedicated student “Tactical Operations Command Center,” a dedicated indoor tactical training and fitness center, proximity to 50-meter and 100-meter shooting ranges, and more.

Class 01 of the Advanced Protective Security Specialist (APSS) Course will commence on March 30, 2013. The APSS course consists of 30 days of classroom instruction and discussion, weapons training, physical fitness training, tactical driving training, individual and team practical applications training, and one week of final testing.
