“These are tough times for many in our area and we plan to continue our support and outreach.” - Monica Wozow
Spokane, WA (PRWEB) March 25, 2013
Spokane, WA Universal Funding Corporation, an invoice financing company, has announced the award of $30,000.00 donations to four Spokane Washington area charities.
“As a Spokane based corporation with a nearly 15 years history in Spokane, WA, we are honored to be able to help outstanding charities in our community,” said Monica Wozow, of Universal Funding Corporation. “These are tough times for many in our area and we plan to continue our support and outreach.”
One charity is a safe house for children in turmoil and can accommodate up to 18 children at any given time and offers child friendly amenities with a compassionate support team. Over 1,645 children from Spokane County have been temporarily placed by this local charity until permanent solutions were available.
This well-known national assistance organization praised Universal Funding Corporation by offering the following letter, “Dear Universal Funding, Thank you for the charitable gift. Children living at our temporary housing are the most vulnerable children living on our community who have typically been removed from their home by CPS and police for abuse or neglect. Our staff provides a safe, nurturing loving environment for children ages 2-12 allowing state social workers the time to find a good match with typically a relative or foster home.”
In 2012, just one such organization was able to provide services to 368 children in the Spokane community. The following is an excerpt of a letter from their Executive Director, “Thank you for your recent contribution. The 2012 calendar year was a financially difficult one for the agency, as all service lines were facing cuts from the State budget. In order to meet rising costs and family needs, we depend upon the generosity from community members such as you. We value your vote of confidence and support of our program.”
Additionally, Universal Funding made generous donations to several Christmas season charities.
Businesses that help charities receive a number of residual benefits, including but certainly not limited to, recognition, goodwill, and publicity. Those benefits shouldn’t motivate businesses to help, but they shouldn’t be ignored either. Universal Funding wants to spread the word about what kinds of local efforts need continued support throughout the year.
Universal Funding doesn’t just help local and national charities. It is a financial services company that helps businesses with customized capital funding programs (factoring invoices and factoring receivables) to meet cash flow needs. They have over 65 years of experience helping many companies to grow and succeed.
