Liproxenol Nutraceuticals found a study on green tea and obesity has been performed on a wide variety of obese Thai people over a 12-week period. In this trial, the object of this study was to find if green tea was capable of giving a person a reduction of their body weight.

In October 2007 on the NCBI site, a study entitled Effectiveness of green tea on weight reduction in obese Thais was put underway that would investigate any effects of green tea on weight loss in obese Thais. In this study, 60 obese subjects were selected, whose BMI was greater than 25kg, and were put on a diet of three meals daily, for 12 weeks. These meals were prepared by the Nutritional Unit and Srinagarind Hospital.

Out of these 60 individuals, two groups were formed and one group was given green tea, while the other was given a placebo. After 12 weeks of the study, the group with the green tea intake had actually reduced their body weight. It would appear that this study shows that with green tea, an overweight person can actually reduce body weight by increasing energy expenditure and fat oxidation.

There are many other ways you can lose weight using Green Tea as well. There is a weight loss supplement called Liproxenol which also contains the ingredient Green Tea, in addition to other ingredients. With such a supplement on hand, could it be possible to lose weight with something like this?
