JNS.org provides Jewish news reporting from Jewish communities throughout the U.S., Europe, South America, South Africa, and Australia, and a wide array of Israel news. While maintaining a strong focus on online journalism, JNS.org sees a compelling need to protect and even enhance print newspapers’ historic role on the front lines of Jewish media. As such, media industry veterans with decades of proven accomplishments from JNS.org provide circulation support and extensive sales management training for publishers prepared to work for the growth of their circulation and revenue.

“Our interest is primarily in the protection of the legacy and heritage of the Jewish weeklies which, like all print media, are facing an array of challenges related to circulation declines, advertising declines, and preference of younger demographics for online information sources,” said Russel Pergament, publisher of JNS.org. Pergament has participated in the startup of 17 weekly newspapers, 3 daily newspapers and other specialized wire services.

The Jewish news service also offers a rich assortment of photos and art, cultural news and features, commentary, and holiday-specific editorial packages around which subscribing newspapers can sell seasonal-themed advertising.
