Steven F. Weisen, M.D., F.A.C.C. has joined ColumbiaDoctors of the Hudson Valley, a provider of quality cardiovascular and internal medicine services to residents of the lower Hudson Valley, with a special focus on treating women and the elderly.

Steven F. Weisen, M.D., F.A.C.C. is Board Certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine with a special focus on non-invasive diagnostic cardiology and treatment, and a published author and co-author of several articles and abstracts concerning this field. “The advances in non-invasive diagnostic testing make it easier for me to treat and prevent heart disease,” said Dr. Weisen. “With no cutting or surgery required, patients are more likely to come in for their check-ups on a regular basis, so they can stay heart healthy.”

Prior to joining ColumbiaDoctors of the Hudson Valley, Dr. Weisen was a heart specialist with Rockland Cardiology in West Nyack, and an affiliate of Nyack Hospital and Good Samaritan Hospital. Dr. Weisen earned his medical degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University where he graduated with Distinction for Research in Cardiovascular Medicine, and also received the Michael Alderman Award for Excellence in Hypertension. Dr. Weisen completed both his internship and residency in internal medicine at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center, followed by a Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at the New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, with advanced training in Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology.
