The Text and Academic Authors Association (TAA) awarded the Third Edition of The Essentials of Computer Organization and Architecture, by Linda Null and Julia Lobur, both of Pennsylvania State University, a 2013 Textbook Excellence Award (Texty). This is the second Texty award for Null and Lobur, the first for their Second Edition of the same text.
The Texty Award, created in 1992, recognizes current textbooks and learning materials in their second or later editions. Judges are published textbook authors.

The awards will be presented during an awards luncheon at the Text and Academic Authors Association’s 26th Annual Conference in Reno, NV, on June 21-22, 2012. The awards luncheon will be held on Saturday, June 22.
