American Infrastructure, a leading heavy construction company and materials supplier, announced today that it has been ranked 9th in Training magazine’s Top 125 Awards Program for 2013 and received the highest score on the Human Resources section for the second consecutive year. American Infrastructure moved up 49 spots from the 58th position in 2012.

Training magazine’s Training Top 125 Award winners are the organizations with the most successful learning and development programs in the world. The winners are evaluated both quantitatively and qualitatively with an outside research firm scoring the organizations on five key areas, which include: Training Program/Scope, Tuition Reimbursement, Training Infrastructure and Delivery, Evaluation/ Metrics, and Human Resources. Scoring highest in the Human Resources category, American Infrastructure topped the other winners in the areas of competency maps, compensation tied to training, employee satisfaction surveys, length of service and turnover, job openings filled by internal candidates, and percentage of new hires referred by employees.

“Our employees are the lifeblood of our company and ensuring that they receive the proper training is essential in our industry and to the success of our business,” said American Infrastructure’s Chairman and CEO, A. Ross Myers. “This award demonstrates our commitment to our employees and our increased dedication to enhancing their skillsets as individuals, as well as improving their ability to work effectively in teams to complete projects.”

American Infrastructure was recognized at a black-tie gala held at the Training 2013 Conference & Expo in February at Walt Disney World Coronado Springs Resort.
