Street Toyota-Scion of Amarillo, Texas received an award for the most vehicles sold of any brand in its primary market, the Panhandle of Texas.
“This award is a big deal,” Mike Good, Street Toyota-Scion General Manager said. “We won this award because more new Toyotas were sold in the Amarillo area than any other brand.”
This coveted award was given to 31 dealerships in the entire Gulf States Toyota Region. The region includes 154 dealerships in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas and Oklahoma.
Street Toyota-Scion ranked number one in the Panhandle last year selling 1,998 new vehicles, beating its closest competitor by over 200 vehicles. Street Toyota-Scion increased its total sales by 20% from the previous year.
“We are all excited and honored to receive this award,” Good said. “It speaks to the quality of the product and the servant’s heart of our staff.”
Recently Street Toyota-Scion won their 10th President’s Award. Street Toyota has won this award for the past seven of eight years. Dealerships must qualify for the President’s Award by exceling in different categories including Customer Sales Satisfaction and Customer Service Satisfaction. Street Toyota Scion met all of the requirements for the award this year. Last year only 12% of all Toyota dealers nationally won this sought after award.
Currently Street Toyota-Scion is working on an expansion project which includes an addition of a 10,000 square foot facility.
