We believe that creativity is best served in a playful, nurturing, noncompetitive environment where freedom and focus go hand in hand.

New York, New York (PRWEB) March 22, 2013

Officials with The Creativity Workshop (CreativityWorkshop.com) announced today that it will host a workshop April 5-8 in New York City.

Ceci Glusman, spokesperson for The Creativity Workshop, said the four-day Creativity Workshop in New York will meet for three hours per day from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

The workshop will take place at the Meta Center, located in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood.

“While the techniques we explore in our creativity course will sharpen participants’ appreciation of New York, the sounds and sights of this exhilarating city will fuel their creative work in class,” Glusman said.

The spokesperson went on to say, “Whether people want to visit art galleries and museums, go to a dance performance, see a Broadway show, browse through one-of-a-kind shops, explore different neighborhoods, or simply people-watch and soak in the city's unique energy, New York has something for everyone and is chock-full of inspiration.”

Glusman stated that The Creativity Workshop in New York is designed to help attendees become more creative in their personal and professional life. She added that participants come from many different countries and professional fields, including business, education, psychology, the sciences, and the arts. “This diversity further enriches attendees’ creative endeavors in the course, as they learn and gain inspiration from one another’s different experiences, perspectives, and backgrounds,” Glusman said.

Glusman stressed that the workshop is an interactive program, in which participants learn by doing rather than simply listening to someone talk. “We believe that creativity is best served in a playful, nurturing, noncompetitive environment where freedom and focus go hand in hand,” Glusman stated.

Glusman noted that The Creativity Workshop will also hold workshops in New York City on June 7 – 10, August 16 – 19, and October 18 – 21.
