Founded in 1982, the Charlotte division of Crime Stoppers has distributed over $400,000 in rewards and led to more than 3,000 arrests. Funding of Crime Stoppers is provided through contributions by private individuals, businesses, fund-raising events, and grants.

They have partnered with Crime Stoppers to continue their mission of making Charlotte a safer pace to live.
