Bellini Williams Island—a new Martin Z. Margulies development and one of the few new residential towers currently under construction in Miami— has collaborated with celebrated chef Eric Ripert of Michelin-rated Le Bernardin in New York City and renowned luxury kitchen brand, Poggenpohl, to be the next development in the U.S. to install each of the 4,955-square-foot penthouses with ground-breaking eco-friendly kitchens, following New York City’s Chelsea Green.

Featuring a complete suite of Miele appliances, the Eric Ripert Kitchen by Poggenpohl brings to life Ripert’s vision for the ideal kitchen for the at-home chef. An indulgence in design, ergonomics, and energy efficiency, the space will demonstrate how the celebrity chef’s own personal vision for a world-class restaurant kitchen can be reinvented in the home.

“We used the knowledge of Poggenphol in terms of the mechanics, and at the same time used the expertise of a professional chef,” said Ripert. “We’ve combined our talents and vision to make a kitchen that is beautiful, and at the same time ultra efficient.”

The kitchen’s many features include narrow pullout drawers, vertical cabinets, a quartz countertop, and a plating area in front of the cooktop. The space includes a Miele 36-in. induction cooktop, two Miele ovens, additional speed oven, 18-in. Miele column freezer and 30-in. column refrigerator. There is a full-size wine storage unit, coffee maker and comfortable seating at the island so the chef can entertain guests and serve as he cooks.

“The Eric Ripert Kitchen by Poggenpohl was a natural choice to include throughout our finely-appointed penthouse units,” said Shannon Selby, COO Bellini Williams Island. “Our buyers demand the very best and this unique and highly desired amenity is not available anywhere in the southeast.”

In addition to the Eric Ripert kitchen, the four gorgeously appointed “corner” penthouses on the 24th and 25th floors of Bellini will feature 12-foot floor to ceiling windows, wraparound, glass-railed balconies with unobstructed 180 degree water views and top-of-the-line interior appointments and fixtures.

A 25-story tower overlooking the intracoastal and Atlantic Ocean, Bellini Williams Island in Aventura, Florida is a boutique development with just 70 residences, and a variety of floor plans ranging in size from 2,235-4,995 square feet of living space. With only four units per floor, all residences offer three bedrooms, 10-foot ceilings (with the exception of the penthouses) and floor-to-ceiling windows, and they range in price from $1 to $4 million. Among the amenities are a landscaped sundeck and pool area, private media room, 24-hour security and concierge. Residents also enjoy access to the Williams Island Club, currently undergoing a $6 million renovation, which features a health spa, tennis courts, restaurants and the 106-slip Williams Island Marina.

Bellini Williams Island—the only new construction in Aventura—topped off in November 2012 and completion is on schedule for summer 2013.
