Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) March 22, 2013
Robert J. Herrington, a shareholder in Greenberg Traurig LLP’s Los Angeles office, has been selected by Law360 as a rising star in two separate categories, Class Actions and Product Liability. Herrington was the only attorney nationwide to be selected in two different categories. The Rising Stars designation honors five attorneys under the age of 40 in each category who have demonstrated outstanding legal achievements. Herrington was recognized for his successful representation of his clients, as well as his work ethic and strategic skill in helping his clients achieve their goals.
“The firm is very proud of Rob’s great success, and he has accomplished quite a bit since joining the firm in 2010,” stated Jeff E. Scott, co-managing shareholder of the Los Angeles office and Co-Chair of the firm's National Class Action Practice Group. “The fact that Rob was named as one of only five attorneys nationwide in two different categories certainly speaks to his tremendous talent and to his commitment and dedication to the best interests of his clients.”
Herrington is Co-Chair of the firm's Products Liability and Mass Torts Practice. His practice focuses on defending companies facing significant class action and products liability lawsuits in the areas of advertising, unfair competition, consumer products, consumer electronics, privacy, food & beverage, financial services, and insurance. Herrington is also the author of the best-selling book Verdict for the Defense (Sutton Hart Press 2011), which provides a blueprint for business leaders to defend their companies against the growing risk of mass action and class action liability.
