Intelling publishes Smart Insights Reports, complete studies on the secure transaction industry. Smart Insights Reports are off-the-shelf research reports providing key facts and figures as well as strategic insights about a technology, a geographical area or a major issue in the secure transaction industry.

Thierry Spanjaard, CEO of Smart Insights will give a conference titled “Nano-SIM adopted. Embedded SIM announced. What's next for SIM Integration in Mobile Handsets?” The conference will refer to the recent Smart Insights Report “eUICC, a disruption in the SIM market”, which delivers a thorough analysis of the eUICC (embedded Universal Integrated Circuit Card) technology and its potential in the consumer handset market. The eUICC concept consists in replacing the detachable SIM that has been present since the inception of mobile communication by a chip soldered on the handset motherboard performing the same functions. Such a technology evolution will trigger changes in the whole mobile communication ecosystem, as the customer relationship management may shift from the mobile network operator to the handset vendor.

Thierry Spanjaard conference “Nano-SIM adopted. Embedded SIM announced. What's next for SIM Integration in Mobile Handsets?” will take place on Wednesday 27 March, 4.00 pm. Thierry Spanjaard is also a member of the jury for the Asian Sesames Awards that will be announced during the event.

Artur Khakimov, analyst with Smart Insights will give a conference titled “BYOD: The Secure Transactions Industry brings Solutions!” the conference will refer to the latest Smart Insights Report “Smart authentication to tackle BYOD issues”. The report provides its readers with a comprehensive analysis of Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) market, authentication solutions, their future adoption scenarios and impact on the smart authentication solutions market. Smart mobile authentication devices ensure that only the right person with right information access privileges gets his hand on the corporate data. Traditional smart solutions used for logical access include smart cards, One-Time-Password (OTP) generators and USB tokens. Today, we can state as a fact that software solutions in some way cannibalize smart authentication solutions.

Artur Khakimov conference “BYOD: The Secure Transactions Industry brings Solutions!” will take place on Thursday 28 March, 2.30 pm.

Both Thierry Spanjaard and Artur Khakimov conferences are organized as part of Cartes in Asia event, on 27 – 28 March 2013, at AsiaWorld Expo, Hong Kong SAR, China. The event includes the exhibition with over 100 exhibitors, high level conferences, workshops, the Asian Sesames Awards ceremony, a Networking cocktail, etc.
