Gravesend, Kent (PRWEB UK) 27 March 2013
Over a celebratory glass of champagne, the Orpington based legal firm Manak Solicitors cut the ribbon on their new office in Gravesend on Friday 15th March.
This marks a big step forward for the firm. Having already established a reputation as one of the leading firm of solicitors in Orpington, Surinder Singh Manak, the senior partner at the firm, was keen to expand the operation in order to cater for an increase in demand for their services from other areas of Kent. At the opening, Surinder said, “Gravesend is a fantastic town with a diverse population and we’re proud to be able to begin serving the community in Kent”.
Local figures from the world of business, law and politics, as well as a number of their corporate clients, were there to help the team at Manak Solicitors open their new office. Councillor Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi, Gravesend’s former Mayor and the councillor with responsibility for overseeing business and partnerships, was on hand to cut the ribbon and officially announce Manak Solicitors as Gravesend’s newest legal firm.
As part of their expansion, the firm have recruited two new solicitors. Mr Richard Field, formerly a partner at another Gravesend based firm of Solicitors specialising in Commercial Conveyancing, Wills & Probate and Powers of Attorney, and Mrs Kemesha Simone Lynch also formerly a partner with a Brixton based Immigration Solicitors. Making an unusual transition, both have given up partnerships in their previous firms in order to work with Manak Solicitors.
The new premises give the firm fantastic coverage across North and East Kent with two easily accessible premises, both within easy walking distance of their respective train stations. The Gravesend office is based on Windmill Street, and Manak Solicitors will be operating across the entire building.
No stone has been left unturned in preparing the new offices, which have been decorated in blue and white to match Surinder’s choice of company colours. They have also ensured that the Gravesend office is wheelchair accessible and ground floor air conditioned consultation rooms have been installed for disabled and elderly clients.
