(PRWEB) March 25, 2013
As of April 1, 2013, Level 2 Live Scan vendor, FastFingerprints, a division of National Background Check, Inc. (NBCI), is approved to provide Ohio customers with the opportunity to process Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) approved fingerprint background checks.
"Due to our location and the number of people traveling from Ohio to Florida, we receive regular requests to complete required Florida background checks,” said Tina Lapp, FastFingerprints owner. “It makes perfect sense to offer our approved Florida live scan background check services to residents of Ohio and surrounding states. It's convenient and gives individuals the peace of mind that their required background check is complete before they travel."
FastFingerprints will introduce the new system at the 1486 Bethel Road location in Columbus, Ohio, on Monday, April 1, 2013. Photo capture capabilities and an updated FDLE-approved system make Fast Fingerprints an easy and efficient choice for Ohioans. Whether seeking licensing with Florida's Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA), the Department of Health (DOH) or fulfilling other state regulated FDLE background checks, FastFingerprints is ready."
Meeting the Level 2 live scan background check requirement in the state of Florida means fingerprints will be electronically submitted to FDLE, processed with the FBI and results will be delivered to the requesting state agency. Florida DOH and AHCA applicants are required to have a photograph taken along with their Level 2 live scan background checks. The system located at Bethel Road will have this capability.
To be fingerprinted for AHCA or other Florida purposes, simply visit the Bethel Road location and bring a government-issued photo identification along with the appropriate ORI number. Walk-ins for FDLE background checks are welcomed at this location Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
FastFingerprints is also prepared to offer fingerprint cards to those who seek licensing outside of Florida or Ohio. At the locations in Independence, West Chester, Bethel Road and Maumee/Toledo, fingerprints can be captured electronically and printed onto two fingerprint cards. If confirmation has been received from the applicable state licensing board, affirming a fingerprint card submission is acceptable, visit http://www.fastfingerprints.com to check the hours of operation for the locations listed above.
