A new website - ehousewarming.com - combines parties and a housewarming gift registry into one easy and free online service

Furnishing your new home can be a difficult task. Most new homeowners, especially those first time buyers don't know exactly what they need. That is why many typically rely on housewarming gifts to help get them started. However housewarming parties rarely offer the advantage of a gift registry. A new website - ehousewarming.com, combines parties and a housewarming gift registry into one easy and free online service.
Now new homeowners or anyone moving into a new residence can enjoy housewarming party benefits whether they throw an actual in-home party or not. The website provides a housewarming gift registry, but is much more than just a registry. Anyone can register for free and post information about their new home, apartment or condo along with photos and personalized captions and messages.
The service offers its users two options for their online housewarming. One, a new homeowner can include photos and registry items along with hosting an actual housewarming party. Those friends and family members who were invited but are unable to attend can visit the website to take part in an online housewarming. Guests to the online housewarming can buy and send gifts from the registry...all with secure online ordering. Guests can also leave messages for the new homeowner offering their warm wishes.
A second option is to only host an online housewarming, where guests do not physically visit the home. This is a convenient way to invite others to one's new home through a "virtual housewarming" instead. This method appeals to anyone who moves a great distance from most of their close friends and relatives, or even someone who simply doesn't have the time to host an actual housewarming party.
"It is our mission at eHouseWarming.com to provide our users with a clean, intuitive, and most of all free set of tools to make your own personal housewarming one of a kind," states Travis Estes, co-owner of eHousewarming.com.
Once an online housewarming party is up and running, users can easily share the page through email and social sites to get the word out to their close friends and relatives. The site offers sample pages and easy registration. While the site charges no fees to register and start an online housewarming party, there is a small percentage-based fee for gift registry purchases when guests send a gift. This covers expenses for operation of the website.
About the Company
eHouseWarming.com was co-founded by Travis Estes and Aaron LeClair, two best friends who felt there was a great need for online housewarming resources and tools. Estes discovered this when buying a home with his fiancé. He noticed that there was no all-in-one, easy online solution to share their new home with others back home. This lack of housewarming resources led him to the idea of a website that offers not only an easy-to-use housewarming gift registry, but also all the tools necessary to host an online housewarming party. It was from this idea that eHousewarming.com was born.
