New site aims to be the go-to source for latest reviews and interviews.

Film Racket, a new website dedicated to the latest movie reviews, DVD and Blu-ray releases, celebrity interviews, video trailers, insightful film commentary, and more, launched today at filmracket.com.

Film Racket was established by Christopher Null, a veteran film critic with 20 years of experience and the author of Five Stars! How to Become a Film Critic, the World’s Greatest Job, the preeminent how-to manual for aspiring film critics. The book was reissued earlier this month in a revised and updated second edition after eight years on the market. Null founded Filmcritic.com in 1995 and built it up into one of the most successful entertainment websites of its era.

“At Film Racket you won’t get the same boring reviews you’ll find on every other website on the internet,” said Null. “Our team of experienced writers eat, sleep and breathe movies and write with attitude, unafraid to call it like they see it.”

“We’re here to tell you whether a movie is worth your time and money, not hedge our bets because we’re worried about the backlash. We go to bat for those little cinematic gems you’d otherwise miss, and we send Hollywood’s sacred cows out to slaughter when they deserve it,” he added. Film Racket is updated daily with reviews, new feature stories and interviews, and the latest Hollywood video previews.

Film Racket's staff of 11 writers includes the web’s foremost experts on movies. With decades of collective experience, the Film Racket critics are some of the most experienced, award-winning writers in the business and have covered Hollywood for USA Today, The Washington Post, The Christian Science Monitor, Las Vegas Magazine, Publishers Weekly, and Kirkus Reviews. The website is optimized for use with web browsers on computers, tablets, and smart phones.
