As part of its mission to be a “hands-on” recruiting firm, Prince Enterprise Recruiting Services, LLC, now offers contract staffing to better meet the needs of its clients and candidates.

Prince Enterprise (PE) Recruiting Services is a Texas HUB and DBE certified business that was established in 2010 by Dr. Byron Prince. Based in Port Arthur, Texas, the firm is dedicated to providing on demand recruiting services to companies throughout Southeast Texas. They specialize in the healthcare, education, and professional information technology industries and pride themselves on their hands-on approach, which includes training and resume tailoring services for candidates and meeting their potential clients face-to-face.

The addition of contract staffing services to their business model is in direct correlation with that approach, making them a true staffing partner for their clients. Prince has found that contract-to-direct hire arrangements in particular strengthen their relationships with clients.

“We want to give clients a sense of comfort by allowing them to test drive candidates so they can see if they fit in with their scheme, mission, and philosophy,” Prince said.

He is also finding that many small-to-medium-sized companies are turning to contract staffing to deal with the upcoming requirements of the healthcare reform law, better known as the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) or Obamacare. Contract staffing can help companies reduce or eliminate their costs under the law. The law will require companies with 50 or more employees to provide healthcare insurance to those employees. Those near the 50-employee threshold can prevent going over it by utilizing contractors who are employed by a contract staffing back-office. For instance, PE Recruiting Services utilizes the back-office services Top Echelon Contracting (TEC). As the legal employer for the firm’s contractors, TEC handles the financial, administrative, and legal tasks, including PPACA compliance. Contractors are offered PPACA-compliant healthcare insurance through Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield.

The firm has come out of the gate strong with its contract staffing services, placing four contractors in just five months through TEC, three of which are still actively working on contract.

“Byron specializes in the medical recruiting field, and he is extremely detail-oriented, conscientious, and thorough in his recruiting endeavors,” said TEC Contract Staffing Specialist Lisa Kovac. “He is a real pleasure to work with. I admire his integrity, and I have enjoyed helping get him started in contract staffing.”
