Charlottetown, PEI (PRWEB) March 26, 2013
Homburg Academy today revealed a comprehensive scholarship program, to be made available for qualified students taking Certificate, Diploma and Bachelors programs in Real Estate through the Homburg Institute and the Homburg Academy.
The scholarships extend Homburg's goal of providing accessible, affordable online education to students worldwide through a revolutionary approach to international E-Learning. Academy founder, entrepreneur and philanthropist, Richard Homburg, intends for the scholarships to promote sustainable green development and inspire entrepreneurial spirit in tomorrow's leaders.
The awards range from $2,000, for Certificate in Real Estate programs, to a number of $24,000 full tuition scholarships available to students in the Bachelor of Science in Real Estate Development and BSc in Real Estate Business, Finance & Investment programs. Other Bachelor program scholarships of $5,000 and $1,000 are available, while applicants to Homburg's Diploma in Real Estate programs may be eligible for one of four half scholarship awards, valued at $6,000 each.
As a special incentive for students in Prince Edward Island, Canada, Homburg is also offering three full Bachelor program scholarships, valued at $24,000 apiece, one to a student in each of the province's three counties. The 2013 Homburg Prince Edward Island Awards are intended to bring the benefits of an international education to the Island community as part of its “Learn on the Island” program.
“We want our graduates to be leaders in the industry,” says Academy President, Dr. Jarrod Wiener. “What we've done here is make an affordable education even more accessible while offering students an array of options that compete on a global level with any other programs out there right now.”
Homburg scholarships are open to students of all ages who meet the entry requirements for their online programs. These include high school and university graduates, and working professionals who display a competence in relevant areas of business and real estate.
The deadline for Bachelor program scholarships is 30 May 2013 for programs starting in September, 2013. The deadline for Certificate program awards is 30 April 2013 for programs starting in June, while submissions will be accepted until 30 May 2013 for Diploma programs starting in September.
