ONE World Sports brings live television coverage of Japan’s reigning baseball champs, the Yomiuri Giants starting March 29. Sports network to carry 72 games of Japan’s premier baseball team.

The New York Yankees of Japan” are among 12 Japanese professional baseball teams, and the Giants are the oldest and most decorated team with 22 Nippon Professional Baseball titles.

ONE World Sports, the English-language sports network with world-class competitions from around the globe, will televise its first live season opener home game of the Yomiuri Giants on Friday, March 29. All 72 Giants’ regular season home games will be carried live and exclusively in North America via television by ONE World Sports. The global sports network gives American baseball fans, for the first time in history, carriage of the legendary Japanese team, whose players have made the rosters of more than 10 MLB teams.

The Giants are Nippon Professional Baseball’s (NPB) reigning champions. They will look to continue their stellar form from last season. “The New York Yankees of Japan” are among 12 Japanese professional baseball teams, and the Giants are the oldest and most decorated team with 22 Nippon Professional Baseball titles.
