ETA’s annual Education Forum, a world-class technical education conference, is the ideal venue for both professional and curriculum development, regardless of skill level. The focus of this year’s Education Forum is Hands-On Training. With the current shortages of skilled technicians, this event will provide the highly sought after hands-on training and certification needed in all areas of electronics.

Education Forum is the focal point for technical and educational professionals to discover emerging technologies, network and collaborate with fellow technicians and educators, have access to training and speaking sessions with industry experts, gain continuing education credits, and discuss classroom implementation strategies.

Benefits for ETA Education Forum presenters include: widespread recognition from industry peers; opportunities to share knowledge and ideas; valuable new information and solutions from other ETA Education Forum presenters; profitable networking availabilities with top industry professionals; presentations are available online to general public at the conclusion of Education Forum which provides publication of session topics.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited, to: STEM Education; Industrial Electronics; Advanced Manufacturing; Renewable Energy; Fiber Optics and Data Cabling; Avionics – including Electronics and Cabling Basic Electronics; Computers – including Wireless Networks, Network Systems, and Electronic Security Software; Wireless Communications – including MR56, B-VoIP, Satellite, RADAR, Distributive Antenna Systems, Mobile Communication Installation and Telecommunications; Biomedical; Federal Communications Commission – including Commercial Radio, Marine Radio, Radiotelegraph; Smarthome – including Audio/Visual, Alarm Security, Home Area Networks, Photovoltaics and Consumer and Residential Electronics; Customer Service, Workforce Development and Business Management.

Those who attend include technicians from around the world concerned with current industry hands-on training, emerging technologies and educational opportunities; industry trainers and managers who want to gain insight from both technicians and educators; workforce development personnel from government, labor, and business who are involved in shaping electronics programs; and faculty in technology programs who want to gain knowledge about new technologies and how to expand existing programs.
