XOS Digital is the only team with the expertise and domain knowledge to deliver on a project of this magnitude.

XOS Digital Inc., the leading provider of content management solutions and digital media services for collegiate and professional sports organizations, announced today the installment of XOS Digital’s Remote Camera System, Thunder Capture, in the U.S. Military Academy football and soccer facilities. The announcement was made today by Chris McCleary, CEO, XOS Digital.

“XOS Digital has been a trusted provider of remote camera systems to athletic organizations for years,” McCleary said. “We are committed to providing the best possible tools that meet the evolving needs of our customers, and Thunder Capture provides a comprehensive and convenient way for the coaching staff to effectively film and analyze practice footage.”

Thunder Capture enables coaching staff to capture high-definition video for practice analysis. XOS Digital installed multiple camera systems in both the indoor and outdoor football practice facilities, Michie Stadium, Shea Stadium for sprint football, and Clinton Field for soccer.

"XOS Digital is the only team with the expertise and domain knowledge to deliver on a project of this magnitude,” said Kevin Shearer, director of video operations for the U.S. Military Academy. “The system quality is second to none, it's easy to use and it integrates smoothly into Thunder and our HD workflow. For our coaches and players, we're able to deliver high quality film more efficiently than ever before."

Each outdoor camera is mounted and reinforced in a weatherproof, climate-controlled housing unit to ensure proper protection and optimal footage in any condition. The cameras provide both SD and HD functionality to accommodate current and future workflow needs in addition to Panasonic’s pan, tilt, zoom cameras to provide fluid movement in all directions.

XOS Digital installed two indoor viewing transmission stations within the football practice facility, enabling the football video staff to have complete control of all cameras. Fiber infrastructure sends live footage directly from the field to the video room and is captured directly in XOS Thunder HD video editing system for game preparation and analysis.

XOS worked closely with the U.S. Military Academy video team to determine the best solution based on workflow, video quality needed, budget and timeline. Thunder Capture is scalable to fit a variety of budget and needs.
