Cash Flow and Securing Funding are the two most significant issues facing small businesses today. NJ Small Business Development Center of Northwest Jersey (NW-NJSBDC) continues its commitment to guiding established small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs to create and expand their business enterprises. NW-NJSBDC has partnered with Bilbus by sponsoring a pilot program with BILBUS, a leader in cashflow management and improving funding opportunities.
“Given the challenging economic environment facing businesses, Bilbus helps alleviate the stress of cash flow management and securing financing,” explains Mary Adelman of NJSBDC. “Bilbus’ cash flow forecasting and financing tools, allows small business owners to easily track and view the status of their invoices, plan and forecast their collections, and procure commercial credit to support their working capital needs.” The service is free to all NW-NJSBDC client-members during the pilot period.
Client-members easily upload their data onto Bilbus.com’s secured servers with templates and connections to many of the top online accounting systems. Bilbus simplifies the hard work of forecasting cash and collections by replacing manual spreadsheets with auto cash forecasting and receivables tracking thus allowing businesses to improve their understanding of their cash position. Additionally, businesses can issue invoices, schedule automatic payment reminders, and apply for commercial credit with Bilbus’ network of lenders from a single request profile and an integrated platform.
“Now with Bilbus’ tools, small businesses can take advantage of the same services formerly reserved for large corporations. We’re excited to provide NJSBDC businesses with a tool that makes it easier to find cash and arrange funding when businesses need it”, sums up Cenk Ipeker, Bilbus’ Co-founder.
The network of New Jersey Small Business Development Centers (NJSBDC) is funded in part through a cooperative agreement between and Rutgers University and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). NJSBDC is the recognized leader in delivering management consulting and training programs to nascent entrepreneurs, start-ups and existing small businesses as well as specialized and more advanced services to high-impact, growth-oriented businesses.
Bilbus is a cashflow management hub that helps businesses find their cash and enables businesses to manage invoicing, monitor collections and customer reminders, automate cash flow forecasts and make credit applications online.
