RLI’s Selling Essentials Rapid Learning Center offers sales professionals a library of six- to 10-minute online videos, support materials and tools that allow managers to deliver sales training to their people in a time-saving, cost effective way.

Rapid Learning Institute (RLI) is pleased to announce that it has entered the beta test phase of the newly redesigned online sales learning management system.

RLI’s Selling Essentials Rapid Learning Center offers sales professionals a library of six- to 10-minute online videos, support materials and tools that allow managers to deliver sales training to their people in a time-saving, cost effective way. Three key features differentiate the beta version from the existing platform.

First, the new online sales training release will offer an “assign training” feature. Managers can select specific training programs they want their salespeople to view, set completion deadlines and track progress through an automated online reporting system.

Second, Selling Essentials now gives customers the option to upload their own training content to the site. Users will be able to post their company- and product-specific training programs to the site to supplement Selling Essential’s existing library of sales skills training programs.

Finally, the new release will add a state-of-the-art reporting system that allows client organizations to organize users under a hierarchical structure, giving upper level management the opportunity to view the entire organization’s usage, and front line managers the ability to view only those who report to them.

“When we announced the new usage reporting, the response was extraordinary. Customers have been asking for functionality like this since we introduced Selling Essentials,” says RLI COO Glenn Eckard. “The strength of this new downstream reporting has led a number of clients in the beta test group to double the number of users on their account.”

RLI plans to introduce the new version to its clients by the end of 2013.
