MoneyDesktop, a provider of an online banking-based personal financial management (PFM) solution to banks and credit unions, announced it has been awarded as a PYMNTS.com Innovator for 2013, winning bronze in the category of Best Newcomer.

MoneyDesktop was recognized during the PYMNTS.com Innovator Awards Dinner held on the campus of Harvard University on March 21. Winners were chosen across 16 unique categories, with the top three finalists in each category being awarded during the ceremony. MoneyDesktop was chosen from among hundreds of applicants as one of five finalists for the category of Best Newcomer. Finalists were chosen by a panel of five payments industry expert judges, and winners were awarded based on both judge recommendation and a public voting process.

“It was great to be recognized at Innovation Project 2013 for the innovations we are bringing to the industry,” said Ryan Caldwell, CEO and founder of MoneyDesktop. “Being named one of the Best Newcomers is a tribute to both our dedicated employees, as well as our amazing clients and partners as we continue to work side-by-side to bring true innovation into the PFM space.”
