L’École Culinaire Hosts Annual "Taste Of L’École" Event

What a unique opportunity to share an evening out with a group of gifted chefs... Watching them create, display and share their personal best is a treat. This is the event I look forward to each year.

L’École Culinaire is proud to announce its annual “Taste of L’École” event on Friday, April 26. From 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Patrons can enjoy fabulous menu offerings carefully crafted by L’École’s talented chefs. Taste of L’École is open to the community and all are welcome to spend the evening sampling delicious dishes and mingling with the chefs of L’École Culinaire.

“What a unique opportunity to share an evening out with a group of gifted chefs,” says Mary Rakoski, Regional Director for L’École Culinaire. “Watching them create, display and share their personal best is a treat. This is the event I look forward to each year”

The distinguished faculty at L’École Culinaire has prepared an original menu including a wide variety of specialty appetizers, entrees and desserts. Each of these talented chefs spent a great deal of time creating their unique dishes to showcase their wide range of culinary skill and creativity. The menu features unique selections such as Foie Gras Croquettes with a Veloute of Seasonal Mushrooms, Bulgogi Duck Tostada with Citrus Slaw, Grilled Lamb Loin Bruschetta, Seared Scallops with Crisp Pancetta, and Mesquite-Smoked Chicken Tacos.

The L’École Culinaire chefs are also preparing Nicoise Salad with Fresh Tuna, Pork and Chicken Caja China Box and Shrimp, Lobster Doas with Podina Chatni, and many more delectable choices – as well as including a delicious artisan bread and cheese station with varieties from around the world. Plus, the chefs have created decadent desserts for all to enjoy, including Chocolate-Passion Fruit Mousse Parfaits, Sponge candy, truffle honey, Chocolate Bark, and Fresh Fruit with Truffle honey.

The “Taste of L’École” special event is held at L’École Culinaire, 9811 South Forty Drive, St. Louis, Mo. Tickets are $45 per person and can be ordered by calling 314-587-2433.
