Playful Programs & Performances Scheduled Monday, April 15 - Friday, April 19

Children meet lambs and baby goats on April 15 at Providence Children's Museum.

Providence Children’s Museum is open for April school vacation, daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Friday, April 19 until 8:00 PM, with special programs and performances all week long.

On Monday, April 15, families meet Fleecy Friends including baby goats and lambs, take a pony ride, pet a bunny, and see how fleece is spun into yarn. Drop-in program from 1:00 - 3:00 PM; recommended for ages 2 and up.

Kids explore and build with big blue Imagination Playground blocks, wheels, spools and tubes on Tuesday, April 16 from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM and Friday, April 19 from 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM. They construct castles and cities, create artful sculptures, design whimsical creatures, and much more – the possibilities are endless!

Families have Animal Experiences when they meet an awesome assortment of live animals on Wednesday, April 17. Children have close encounters with furry friends, slithering snakes and other incredible creatures and learn fascinating facts about them from animal expert Dave Marchetti. Drop-in program from 1:00 - 3:00 PM; recommended for ages 3 and up.

And on Thursday, April 18, families enjoy playful, participatory performances of “Peter Rabbit” presented by the Pumpernickel Puppets. Shows at 1:00 & 2:00 PM; recommended for ages 3 and up.

School vacation programs and performances are free with Museum admission of $9.00 per person; admission is free for Museum members. For more information, visit http://www.ChildrenMuseum.org.
