“Music brings people together, and experiencing something you are both so passionate about creates such a strong bond between two people,” says Brandon Wade, Founder & CEO of MissTravel.com. “Think of all the stories people still tell about Woodstock, many of them involving people they met or fell in love with there.”

MissTravel.com has amassed over 275,000 members world wide since it’s launch in April 2012. It’s the only travel dating website which pairs generous travelers with attractive, aspiring travelers for a destination date. According to the survey 22% of all members regularly attend at least one music festival, with the most popular destination being Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas.

The survey also asked members who answered “no, I do not regularly attend music festivals”, their reason for not attending. 33% responded “I don’t want to go alone” while 24% responded “I can’t afford to go.” Only 37% of those polled admitted to being “uninterested in attending music festivals”.

“Music festivals can be expensive to attend, and even more so if you don’t live nearby,” says Wade. “But our survey shows that there are just as many people interested in finding a travel companion for a music festival, as those who can’t afford to go on their own.”

Attractive members travel free on MissTravel.com, with the generous member footing the bill. The controversial dating website has inspired over 201,500 trips to date, with thousands of people traveling to destinations around the world for a first date.
