“With Fortune 500 companies running leaner than ever, the demand for interactive, highly targeted business information that is accessible on a variety of devices has never been greater,” said Sterling Stites, CEO of InfoDesk. “Archambeau’s expertise and experience developing aggregated news-based MNS for diverse verticals, especially in business consulting and financial services sectors is the perfect complement to InfoDesk’s custom competitive intelligence services,” Stites added.

InfoDesk offers a suite of cutting-edge competitive intelligence, news and media monitoring solutions and editorial services, including executive briefings, dashboards and interactive email newsletters to help corporate and government clients distribute relevant news and competitive intelligence internally.

Archambeau will focus primarily on developing new business verticals for InfoMonitor and related competitive intelligence services. InfoMonitor provides daily custom competitive intelligence briefings and news clipping services to corporations and government agencies. InfoDesk's state-of-the-art technology combined with professional editor's review results in a service that scours thousands of news sources and delivers only the most relevant clips without redundancy.

“Up until now, InfoDesk has focused primarily on the top pharmaceutical and government information markets, where demand has been the greatest,” Stites noted. Now that other top companies are recognizing the business value of custom curated content, “We think they’ll find our services are far superior in terms of content options, technology, editorial expertise and workflow adaptability.”

“Archambeau’s background developing custom content solutions,” said Stites, “will help us meet the specific needs and requirements of these new markets.” “We are indeed pleased to have Archambeau join us,” Stites said.

Archambeau is a seasoned content strategy expert with a proven track record in business intelligence. Tapped in 2007 from Thomson Reuters to launch a new product line for Generate, Inc., Archambeau quickly expanded their portfolio of clients.

His efforts contributed to the acquisition of Generate by Dow Jones, where he subsequently managed editorial teams on three continents and offered top-tier customer service to Fortune 500 C-Suite executives and consultants around the globe.

In 2011 Archambeau’s efforts won him the Dow Jones Leadership Award in recognition as the first in his Factiva business group to develop business opportunities in the AsiaPacific region.

In making the announcement, Stites also noted that providing corporate decision makers with access to current information is critical to maintaining competitive advantage and, “smart companies are now looking for more than just the latest technology, they are also demanding industry-specific knowledge and experience curating content for and about their businesses.”
