CUT Steakhouse in New Jersey Chooses SeatMe to Accept Online Reservations and Manage Walk-In DIners

CUT Steakhouse uses SeatMe’s tablet and Web service to take reservations on their website, manage tables, and optimize their front of house.

SeatMe, a leading provider of online restaurant reservation systems and front of house management software that helps restaurants fill more tables, announced today that New Jersey’s popular CUT Steakhouse uses SeatMe for complete restaurant management. CUT Steakhouse started using SeatMe earlier this year, after extensive research into online reservation and restaurant management solutions. CUT Steakhouse uses SeatMe to text walk-in diners when their tables are ready, manage server sections so covers are spread evenly, and much more. Using SeatMe also helps CUT Steakhouse accurately quote wait times to guests, with an intuitive floor view that shows, at a glance, diners’ progress through their meals. What’s more, restaurants like CUT Steakhouse can the add these walk-in guests to their electronic guestbook, which tracks dietary preferences, allergies, special occasions, repeat visits, and more. Maintaining a guestbook is useful for restaurants like CUT that can then use that contact information to offer targeted specials to their guests and increase repeat visits.

All of this functionality is built on top of SeatMe’s core service, which enables restaurants to take reservations online twenty-four hours a day, from their website, mobile phones, and SeatMe.com. CUT Steakhouse can also free-up their hosts’ time by confirming reservations via SMS, which many diners prefer over a phone call.

Unlike other restaurant wait-list management and online reservation tools, SeatMe doesn’t charge any additional fees per seated diner or for added features. Everything is included in the flat monthly fee of $99, with no contract, and all restaurants have a full two weeks to try the service for free .

Setup is also a cinch, and only takes a few minutes. CUT Steakhouse signed up for a free trial one afternoon and was accepting online reservations in time for dinner service. With an iPad at the hostess stand, SeatMe perfectly complemented CUT’s upscale aesthetic.
