HFH-SCC will host their 10th annual Gala this year's theme "There's no place like home" Gala — the largest fundraiser for HFH-SCC. Samsung will be the title sponsor.

Habitat for Humanity of South Collin County is preparing for its largest fundraiser of the year, the 10th Annual “There’s No Place Like Home” Gala. The event will be held to raise money to further the efforts of HFH-SCC, and continue to give back to deserving families in the community.

The Gala will be held at The Marriott Legacy Town Center in Plano on Saturday, April 20, 2013. This year’s event holds a special place for HFH-SCC as they will be honoring founding, past and present board members. Being their biggest fundraiser of the year, their goal is to top $140,000; enough to build two affordable homes. They are anticipating a crowd of 300. There will be live music, cocktails, dinner and a spectacular silent and live auction using state of the art technology. Samsung will be the title sponsor once again.

HFH-SCC has constructed 68 new, decent and affordable houses in South Collin County, transforming the lives of 209 deserving family members, including 120 children. Through support of the ReStore (retail outlet open to the public, donation programs such as “Cars for Homes” and a strong volunteer program, HFH-SCC relies on the community for helping collect the resources for the construction of homes.
