(PRWEB UK) 24 April 2013
According to the BBC, record unemployment in Spain has sparked an influx of Spaniards seeking work in the UK, with a rising number moving to Wales.
The Spanish jobless rate stands at 26 percent but it is the under 25s who have suffered most with 55 percent out of work. Last year, 30,000 national insurance numbers were issued to Spaniards in the UK looking for work, which is an increase of 25 percent on 2011. In Wales in particular high numbers of Spaniards have been noted and seen to join groups on social media channels such as ‘Spaniards in Cardiff.’
The moving company Interdean has also noted high levels of Spaniards moving to all countries within the UK as a representative explained, ‘Spain has suffered during the recession and as a result Spaniards have moved here in search of work.
