It has been reported in HSE.gov.uk that Peter Cavanagh 57, and his son Shane, 24, trading under the name Gas Master installed central heating into a flat in Market Drayton despite not being Gas Safe Registered. The case, hed by Shrewsbury Magistrates, Peter Cavanagh v HSE 4271882, case number: HSE/M/52 concluded in Peter Cavanagh being given an 18 week suspended prison sentence, as well as 240 hours of unpaid work and costs of £5,547. Shane Cavanagh was ordered to pay £2,552 in costs and given an 18 month community order, during which he must complete 240 hours of unpaid work, although the men have not yet been convicted.
