Excitor (http://www.excitor.com), a leading provider of secure mobile device management, announces the appointment of Lars Hamann as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). A former CFO for Navision Software and a top executive for Microsoft Dynamics, where he expanded the company’s presence in strategic markets for China, Japan and Eastern Europe, Hamann has over 15 years of experience within the field of Information Technology (IT). He also holds a diploma in Business Economics from the Copenhagen Business School (CBS).
“Lars is a distinguished executive with global expertise and a keen understanding of the responsibilities involving today’s mobile workforce. He values our emphasis on innovation and security, complemented by our use of DME (Dynamic Mobile Exchange) to safeguard personal and business data. Lars recognizes the importance of this effort, as well as the benefits our clients enjoy. He is a welcome addition to our leadership team,” says Rene Stockner, CEO of Excitor.
DME also gives workers the ability to securely retrieve emails, calendars, and Intranet and business applications such as payroll and CRM systems on their mobile devices – regardless of whether that device is a company-issued tablet or smartphone or a personal cell phone or iPad, for example. DME further uses a secure container to separate personal and business data, effectively eliminating the risk of data leakage.
“Excitor is at the forefront of transforming the world of IT, helping a variety of businesses throughout North America and Europe. It is an honor to join this company, which has an excellent reputation and a proven record of success,” says Mr. Hamann. “I look forward to contributing to these achievements, which unite security and mobility.”
