The CorSource Technology Group board of directors has appointed Eileen Boerger chief executive officer (CEO) of the company, effective immediately. Boerger replaces Richard Pierce, who serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the leading provider of strategic consulting, software development services and technical staffing to organizations of all sizes.

Eileen brings to the role of CEO deep industry experience and technical expertise, client focus and operational leadership.”

Under the guidance of Boerger and Pierce, the company has realized record growth in recent years and continues to strategically position itself to help ISVs and SMBs meet the evolving software development challenges for business intelligence (BI), SaaS/cloud and mobile.

Boerger has more than 30 years of software and technology industry experience. She joined CorSource in 2000 and previously held titles of Executive Vice President, General Manager and President. She also serves as a director of the Board. Since joining the company, she implemented the delivery of the outsourced software development services, and launched the company's software development Consulting Services to help companies meet product development challenges for cloud, mobile, and BI.

Boerger is a sought-after speaker on latest technology developments at global venues including All About the Cloud, All About Mobile, Softletter's All About SaaS, SVForum and others. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) software division. She is a judge for the SIIA's CODiE Awards recognizing excellence in business software, digital content, and education technology industries.

A longtime champion of women in science and technology, Boerger was recognized by Open Computing magazine as one of the "Top 100 Women in Computing" and is an Orchid Award winner honoring the "2012 Women of Influence" by the Portland Business Journal. She is serving a third four-year term on the Engineering and Technology Industry Council (ETIC); helped start ETIC's Oregon Pre-engineering and Applied Sciences (OPAS) Initiative to foster collaborations and programs that prepare, motivate, and enable the success of a diversity of students in the technical disciplines; serves on the Portland State University Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science Dean's Executive Council; served on Saturday Academy's Advisory Board of the Association of Women in Science, Engineering and Math; and supports Oregon Entrepreneurs Network's (OEN) Angel Oregon program providing launch-stage funding to promising new companies. She has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Software Association of Oregon (SAO) and the Women in Technology International (WITI) Foundation.

Boerger earned a Bachelor of Arts in math and Master of Arts in computer science from the University of Texas at Austin.

Pierce joined the company in 2004 as an investor and president focused on business development, following a 30-year career as an entrepreneur and executive in telecommunications and wireless. His passion for technology and support of growth initiatives has been instrumental in the continued growth and success of CorSource. He has been active in many local and state organizations, including past chair and 11-year board member of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society of Oregon. He was also an eight-year member of the downtown Rotary Club, Young President's Organization and Portland Executives Association.
