'Jungle' Jack Hanna, host of the nationally syndicated "Into the Wild" television show and director emeritus of the Columbus, Ohio Zoo and Aquarium, is bringing his live show to the Gallo Center for the Arts. Hanna will take the stage at 7 pm on Saturday, April 27.

Tickets range in price from $20 to $50, and may be purchased online at GalloArts.org, by calling 209-338-2100, or at the Gallo Center ticket office, 1000 I Street in downtown Modesto.

"Into the Wild Live," brings some of Hanna's favorite animals up on stage while incorporating video footage from his travels around the world, as well as stories and anecdotes about his career as a conservationist, author of 11 books, television personality, and lifelong adventurer.

After twelve years hosting "Jack Hanna’s Animal Adventures," Hanna launched his current syndicated TV series, "Jack Hanna’s Into the Wild," which received a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Children's Series in 2008, the show's first season.

Recognized around the country as America’s favorite zookeeper, Hanna has made countless television appearances since 1983 on shows such as "Good Morning America," CNN’s "Larry King Live," "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," and "The Late Show with David Letterman."

"Jack Hanna Into the Wild Live" is presented by Nationwide Insurance. Local sponsors are Prime Shine Car Wash and Sutter Health. The Gallo Center's 2012-2013 Premier Partner is Boyett Petroleum.
