Digital Media Training's CEO, Steve Bookbinder, announces the addition of a new leadership team. Bill Acker, John Dowd and Robin Koocher join Digital Media Training as VP/General Sales Manager, Executive VP of Sales/Business Development and VP of Marketing.

Bill Acker will be the new Vice President/General Sales Manager. Bill is an accomplished Sales and Marketing Executive with over 20 years of experience in the Television, Radio, and Digital industries. Prior to joining the Digital Media Training team, Bill worked at CBS Radio as a Sports Marketing Executive, leading the sales of the New York Yankees’ baseball franchise with a strong focus on the Hispanic market. Prior to his career at CBS, he held positions as the Director of Sales Training and VP of National Sales at Univision TV, a Spanish-language television network, where he provided training to over 2,500 Account Executives and Sales Managers on the sales principles of effectively reaching the Hispanic demographic. Bill was responsible for the creation of the Univision Training Center located in Teaneck, NJ.

John Dowd joins Digital Media Training as the new Executive Vice President of Sales and Business Development with a colorful background. Prior to joining DMT, he held a variety of management positions and was the Vice President of Sales at three different television stations. He worked as a Director of four different start-up companies, leading the creation and execution of successful business plans. His thorough knowledge and understanding of sales and marketing extend across many different industries and helps bring a fresh perspective to DMT. He was once a sales manager in the yachting industry, generating over 25 million in sales for six consecutive years. For the past two years, he has worked with a team of engineers, the US Coast Guard, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, and several other agencies as a field manager in the BP oil spill. He currently lives in Florida with his wife Tracey.

Robin Koocher has recently been promoted to Digital Media Training’s Vice President of Marketing. She has more than two decades of Broadcast, Digital, Sales and Marketing experience, having worked with multiple different companies rooted in publishing, media sales, and integrated marketing services. Among these are Petry Media, TeleRep, Lifetime Television, and Knight Ridder. At Digital Media Training, Robin leads the development of strategic campaign initiatives, oversees public relations, and promotes the delivery of the trainings that are provided on a proprietary digital platform. She is also a strong advocate of health and wellness and works as a Pilates instructor during her spare time.
