I take pride in the Anvil name, so it was just a logical step to make the longer warranty official.

Anvil Attachment has updated its warranty on all clamshell buckets and orange peel grabs to one year. With this update, Anvil now has one of the best warranties in the bucket and grapple industry. Anvil offers the most diverse product line in the industry, ranging from hydraulic to cable / rope clamshell buckets and grapples. Most competitors in the industry, whether, hydraulic or cable offers only a six-month warranty. According to Jon Craft, President of Anvil Attachments, “The decision to move the entire product line to a one-year warranty was a no-brainer. Over the past few years, we have moved most of our product lines to a standard parts system. This has decreased our warranty issues dramatically.” Under Anvil's standard parts system, buckets and grapples are built around standard configurations and standard parts. This standard parts system is entrenched in the culture of Anvil; a lot of the parts are even cross platform between the buckets and grapples, meaning some bucket parts are also used on the grapples. This allows Anvil to stock almost all parts, allowing for next-day delivery on almost all parts.
Anvil also completely redesigned their hydraulic cylinders, Jon Craft says, “We believe we now have the best, most robust cylinder on the market.” Some of Anvil’s cylinder improvements include an inertia welded rod eye, according to Jon; this rod eye is virtually indestructible. This cylinder also features an internal cushion. Jon says, “This cushion allowed us to remove the mechanical stop that most other bucket manufacturers utilize. This cushion prevents the operator from “banging” the bucket open; this drastically prevents stresses and premature cracking on the buckets.”
Anvil's new policy warranties their products to be free from defects in material and workmanship. Over the past several years, Anvil has worked to create a culture of a service first company. Jon Craft states “I have often covered items under warranty after the warranty had expired if I believe a problem was Anvil’s responsibility. I take pride in the Anvil name, so it was just a logical step to make the longer warranty official.”
