IT professionals, business executives, company owners have the opportunity to get the latest information on What’s new in Microsoft Technologies at an all day seminar to be held on Monday, April 8, 2013 in New York City at the Microsoft offices on Ave of the Americas from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The complimentary seminar is being hosted by NetCom Learning in partnership with Microsoft. The informational sessions will cover the new applications and software launches by Microsoft as part of their “era of productivity” product rollout. This seminar is ideal for IT professionals and business executives to learn more about the new technologies that increases a organization productivity and efficiencies. The presentations are part of “What’s New in Microsoft’s Technologies” event series. Seminars are also being offered in the Washington, DC area, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and in Iselin, New Jersey.

Microsoft’s new product enhancements and launches are aimed at providing companies with the products they need to be able to improve communication within a business and with their customers, offer new capabilities to drive company innovation, and improve customer service and increase work efficiencies. At the seminar an overview of the new Microsoft Technologies and Business Case will be provided, the Windows Server 2012 presentation will focus on providing an overview of the new features in the operating system that helps redefine the server category. Windows Server 2012 now provides companies with a way to take advantage of improvements in networking, provides an improved user experience, and increases work efficiencies. The session on System Center 2012 will feature the new capabilities provided within the System Center 2012 which gives employees needed access to corporate business data so that they can work on whatever device they are using and from almost any location.
A session is also being provided for IT professionals on updates to the new Microsoft certifications, their importance and what a Microsoft certification can mean to an individual’s career success.
In the afternoon there will be a presentation on Microsoft SharePoint 2013 which looks at the functionalities in the application including improvements to work collaboration, project management, shared content, and the capabilities to build apps in the Cloud and Internet and Intranet sites easily and quickly. The session on Microsoft Exchange 2013 which is part of a new version of Microsoft Office details the way that the application now offers ways to improve employee productivity while maintaining the security of a company’s network.
The seminar location is the Microsoft offices at 1290 Avenue of the Americas, on the sixth floor in New York City. There is no charge for the seminars but seating is limited so RSVPs are required. A light breakfast, lunch and refreshments will be provided. You are encouraged to attend both sessions.

A featured speaker for the event is Richard Oertle, who has been a technical trainer and IT consultant for over thirty years. He has held his Microsoft Certified Trainer certification since 1995. In his career, Richard has assisted companies with increasing cost efficiencies, and overall gains in productivity from the deployment and migration to new software, and through employee training. Richard's specialties include Windows Server, System Center, Windows 7, Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Exchange.
