Gulfport, MS (PRWEB) April 01, 2013

Beginning in April, travelers will have another option on American Airlines and Delta Airlines when traveling this spring from Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport and will be able to fly on larger aircraft when utilizing US Airways. Beginning April 1, 2013, Delta Airlines is adding an additional flight on a 50 seat regional jet to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in the evening. American Airlines is adding an additional daily flight to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport on April 2, 2013. US Airways is replacing two of its 50 seat aircraft with larger 67 seat regional jets for the season. US Airways flies from Gulfport-Biloxi to Charlotte Douglas International Airport in Charlotte, NC.

“The additional flights on American and Delta and the two larger US Airways regional jets will provide enhanced options for travelers using Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport,” said Airport Director Clay Williams. “Spring is typically a busier time for travel and having the extra flights and capacity added to the market should make for easier travel for Airport patrons.”
