Netchemia, the leading provider of cloud-based talent management software specifically developed for K-12 school districts and institutions, was named a finalist for the 2013 SIIA Education CODiE Awards for Best K-12 Enterprise Solution.
The SIIA CODiE Awards are the premier award for the software and information industries, and have been recognizing product excellence for 27 years. The awards have more than 75 categories and are organized by industry focus: content, education and software.
The TalentEd K-12 Strategic Management Suite, which includes TalentEd Recruit & Hire—a CODiE Finalist in 2010—and TalentEd Perform, delivers simple, innovative and affordable Web-based solutions for applicant tracking and hiring and performance evaluation to more than 1,100 districts and schools of all kinds and sizes, from rural ones with fewer than 200 students to suburban and city ones with tens of thousands.
“Our team is honored to be recognized for this prestigious award and it further validates the work we are committed to doing,” said Gavin Guest, director of TalentEd products for Netchemia. “The feedback we receive from our customers has proven invaluable as we strive to make sure the TalentEd experience keeps getting better.”
This year’s program features 23 education categories, several of which are new or updated to reflect the latest industry trends and business models. Winners will be announced May 6 during a special awards dinner at the nation’s leading education technology conference, the Ed Tech Industry Summit, in San Francisco.
The TalentEd K-12 Strategic Talent Management Suite is one of five products selected as finalists for Best K-12 Enterprise Solution.
“We’re pleased with the innovative educational technology products that made it to this stage,” said Karen Billings, vice president of the SIIA Education Division. “All of this year’s finalists show great promise, and they should be proud of their finalist status. I look forward to seeing them all in May at the Ed Tech Industry Summit.”
