Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) April 01, 2013
The organizers at the Vegas Loves Brazil cultural festival announced on Monday that Leblon Cachaça has signed on as the latest addition of sponsors for the April 13th event. “We are very excited to have Leblon on board with us. This opportunity expands our vision of introducing another tradition of the Brazilian culture to Las Vegas,” says Vegas Loves Brazil co-founder and organizer, Ramon van Meer.
Leblon is a Brazilian spirit called Cachaça, used in many traditional Brazilian cocktails, and is the main ingredient in Brazil’s national drink, the Caipirinha, which also includes limes, lime juice, sugar and ice. While Cachaça is categorized as a rum, is different from other rums that are made from molasses. Cachaça is distilled from pure sugarcane juice, and Leblon is handcrafted at the Maison Leblon in Minas Gerais, Brazil’s agricultural heartland.
The Vegas Loves Brazil festival was pleased to have finalized the sponsorship deal with the Leblon brand and has begun including the brand on all of the events promotional materials, including the events official website and social media sites. “We are excited to have the ability to offer the adults the caipirinha. It’s an old Brazilian traditional beverage we know Vegas will love” says van Meer.
The Vegas Loves Brazil festival will take place on April 13 at the Clark County Amphitheater from 1 – 9 p.m. The festival will highlight the best in Brazilian culture through food, song and dance. Samba performances as well as the famous Brazilian martial art dancing style of Capoeira will be abundant throughout the day. Kids will enjoy face painting, bounce houses, carnival rides, games and pony rides. Tickets for adults are $5 and free for children under 12 years old. Free parking will be available onsite.
